Beneath the Concrete, We Resist

Beneath the Concrete, We Resist is a personal sci-fi environment study exploring abandoned concrete corridors, liminal architecture, and the lingering traces of human resistance hidden inside an oppressive industrial space.

The project began as a visual exploration of mood, scale, and atmosphere using MidJourney, and was later further developed and reconstructed in Blender. My goal was to create an environment that feels monumental, cold, and psychologically heavy — a place built to contain people, yet marked by the signs that someone once pushed back.

The lone figure, wet floor reflections, exposed cables, industrial lights, scattered debris, and the graffiti message “Resist People” all suggest fragments of a larger story about control, decay, and defiance beneath a brutal concrete shell.

This series sits somewhere between dystopian worldbuilding, architectural mood study, and atmospheric concept art, inspired by brutalist spaces, liminal environments, and the uneasy beauty of abandoned structures.
